PNLE NP1 to NP5 — Nursing Practice Areas Explained
NP1 through NP5 are the five Nursing Practice areas that organize the PNLE. NP1 covers foundations of professional nursing practice. NP2 covers community health nursing and care of mother and child. NP3 and NP4 cover care of clients with physiologic and psychosocial alterations. NP5 covers care of mother and child at risk, newborns, and women's health.
Knowing which NP area you're weakest in lets you direct your review time more efficiently. NursePass tracks your quiz results across all five areas and surfaces weak-topic practice sessions based on where you missed the most questions. Progress tracking shows which areas are complete and which need more review.
NursePass covers all five NP areas across 55 structured lessons and 1,100+ practice questions. Start with the free lessons to see the coverage before committing to a full account.
